You won't find many carpet companies willing to offer this kind of promise, but we're that committed to your complete satisfaction with our products.

Please note that our 30 Day Best Price Guarantee doesn't apply to installation expenses, and it doesn't cover the cost of underlay or other materials. We ask that you provide us with your original written quote including meterage and a sample of the product. Our policy is good for up to 30 days after your purchase, and our friendly staff will handle your refund with a smile. We're that sure of all our carpets.

Carpet Care
Its highly recommend that you follow the manufacturers guideline not only to extend the life of your carpet, but to keep within the manufacturers warranty policy. For more information on caring for your carpet, please refer to the manufacturers website or the rear of carpet sample book.

Installation Warranty
The Carpet Spot guarantees that the installation of the carpet will be carried out in a workmanlike manner and installed to AS/NZS2445 Standards. The Carpet Spot will rectify any faults caused by workmanship, provided that defects as such are notified to The Carpet Spot as soon as they are apparent, and within 5 Years of installation date for Residential, and 1 year for Commercial, and provided that the carpet has been installed by The Carpet Spot.


Manufacturers Warranty
The Carpet Spot supplies only those carpets that are guaranteed by the manufacturers. Please refer to the warranty label on back of the carpet sample book for more information. You can also view more information at

Pattern Matching
The Carpet Spot uses carpet manufacturers who use the best available techniques to minimise the pattern distortion during the manufacture. All carpets are subject to some degree of bowing and/or skewing. Bowing of up to 40 mm over any single width of carpet is generally acceptable.

Not Included In The Guarantee
Customers dissatisfaction with type and colour selected. Wear caused by normal usage, including but not limited to flatting, matting, shedding, piling, shading and fading. Guarantee does not apply to "seconds" and 'remnants" when sold as such. Obvious manufacturing faults not brought to The Carpet Spots attention immediately.

Booking & Scheduling
Once you have confirmed your order by deposit, the carpet will be ordered and the manufacturer will provide an estimated arrival date. Once the carpet has been received in our warehouse facility, a friendly staff member will be in contact with you to organise a suitable installation date. We recommend for someone suitable to be at the property on the day to answer any questions the installer may have.

Payments & Deposits
The Carpet Spot accepts payments by Visa, Master Card, Cheque or by Direct Bank transfer.
Deposits: Once the entire deposit amount is received, the order is deemed confirmed. Receival of the depsoit also confirms that you have read and agree to the terms & conditions of the sale, therefore the carpet is then ordered and cut, so change of mind is not possible at this point. Any cancellation will forfeit the cost of the materials.
Final Payment: Upon your installation booking, you will be required to confirm your payment method, in most cases your Credit Card details are required to confirm the booking. Please note that Credit Card payments are normally processed after the installation has been completed and to your satisfaction.
The Carpet Spot reserve the right prior to delivery/Installation to require payment of the work in advance from the purchaser; Title of the goods does not pass on to the customer until the account is has been paid in full. Interest may be charged on overdue accounts at the overdraft interest rate charged by Bankers from time to time. In addition, any collection charges, legal expenses and commissions incurred in attempting to recover payment shall be payable by the customer.

Short Notice Installation Cancellations
Cancellations made the day before after 12pm will incur a cancellation fee of $220 Inc GST. Cancellation made on the day of installation will incur a $440 cancellation fee. Please ensure you have considered all options before making a cancellation.

Manufacturer Supplier Delays
Any date fixed for the completion of any work by The Carpet Spot is fixed in the light of circumstances existing at the date hereof. The Carpet Spot can not be held responsible for the delay in completing or failure to complete such work caused by circumstances for which The Carpet Spot are not responsible or have no control over, i.e. transport, strikes, industrial disputation, manufacturing delay and similar. The Carpet Spot will negotiate the best possible outcome for customers.
